Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using OffKit ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

OffKit is an iOS app that uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) APIs to help you block apps and app categories by scenario. The App operates entirely on your device and does not require or use a remote server for its core functionality.

Subscriptions and Purchases

OffKit offers a free tier with limited features and an optional OffKit Pro subscription or lifetime purchase to unlock all features.

  • Annual Subscription: OffKit Pro is available as an auto-renewable annual subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
  • Lifetime Purchase: A one-time purchase that grants permanent access to all Pro features.
  • Free Trial: If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring that your use of the App complies with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Configuring scenarios and blocking settings according to your own preferences.
  • Maintaining the security of your device and any authentication methods used with the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that app blocking will work in all circumstances. The effectiveness of app blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time APIs and your device's configuration.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of OffKit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to the design, text, graphics, and code, are the property of the developer and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
